HEAT MANAGEMENT - Block and redirect heat away from critical areas in the engine compartment or prevent heat from emanating onto sensitive engine components.

REGENERATION REDUCTION - Hotter air goes into the DPF thereby reducing clogging which allows the DPF to operate more effectively and thereby reduces the amount of regenerations.

NOISE ABATEMENT - Reduce the noise signature on specific engine components to minimize the sound penetration into a vehicle cab or reduce curb noise.
